How it Works
Free 24/7 Behavioral Health Support
Calling the 988 Florida Lifeline is a courageous step. When you call, you’ll talk to a local crisis counselor who is here to listen and help you find the support you need. We believe everyone in Florida should have access to care from local behavioral health providers, clinics, clergy, and other community resources. These local resources can offer the right kind of assistance when you’re in crisis.
How the Lifeline Works
When you dial 988, your call will be answered by a crisis counselor. Their job is to listen and work with you on coping strategies, safety planning, and help connect you to appropriate care in your community.
